I handpick every gemstone and mineral that I use in my pieces. If you have a specific request, I will do my best to find whatever you are looking for! Please do not put any of the stones in ultra sonic cleaners, as this will ruin the stone.
What is the Jewelry Made Of?
I use a variety of silver including fine silver, .925 silver and sterling silver.
Jewelry Care
While I have handcrafted these pieces to last, there will be some wear on the jewelry after a time. I would not recommend you wear your jewelry while you are cleaning dishes, swimming, cleaning with chemicals, sporting activities, ect, as well as avoid putting perfume, hairspray, bug spray and sunscreen on it. Store in an airtight plastic bag or the box it comes in when you are not wearing it as this can help preserve it and reduce the tarnish time. Do not use chemicals to clean your jewelry – use a silver polishing cloth to clean it up.
I will not replace pieces that have been damaged through your improper use or care, or neglect. However, if you feel that due to my design that it becomes damaged, please email me immediately at rustycreekdesigns@gmail.com. I do my hardest to make sure the unique pieces that are sent to you will last. I am still perfecting my silversmithing skills, so I do know that there may be flaws that happen. I will do whatever I can to make it better!
Shipping
When filling out the check out form, please make sure that your address is correct. I want to make sure that you get the beautiful piece that you ordered. I will ship your products 3 days or less after you place your orders. If I am not able to in this time frame, I will reach out to you and let you know. Please allow a little more time during the holidays. Please note, however, that I have no control over postal mishaps. However, I will do whatever I can to help you track it down!
Every order will be shipped via USPS unless otherwise specified. Each package will be sent with a box and cotton bag that you will be able to store your jewelry in.
Gift Wrapping
I do offer gift wrapping if you are wanting me to send it to a loved one! I can also include a personalized note or card with whatever you want on it. This will be free of charge. If this is what you wish to do, please email me at rustycreekdesigns@gmail.com or in the Get In Touch page.
Custom Orders or What if the Item I Want is Sold Out?
All my jewelry is one of a kind – there will never be two of the same! However, if you see something in the past creations that you like, reach out to me and I will try to make something close. Please note, I may not be able to find a stone that is similar in style or shape. I will do my best to find the right one though.
I can do custom orders, but there will be a $50.00 deposit that will be put down before I start working on this. This $50.00 can be put toward the finished product Please email me at rustycreekdesigns@gmail.com or at the Get In Touch page with what your thoughts are and I will get a good understanding of what you are wanting. These orders to take more time to make as I want to ensure I create what you are looking for and find the materials that would fit best with your request. Please allow to more time for shipping, but that can be discussed in the beginning.
With getting specific sizes on pieces such as rings and bracelets, they cannot be resized after the jewelry is completed. However, there may be some instances where I will do a made-to-order so you can choose your sizes! I can do sizes 2-13 (US/Canada sizes). Please contact me for the time-frame that the custom order can be made
Returns
Please email me at rustycreekdesigns@gmail.com within 3 days of receiving if for any reason you are unhappy with your item and I will do my best to make it right. Send the jewelry back to me in its original condition and packaging within 7 business days of purchase for a full refund (minus shipping). There is NO return policy on custom orders or any item that has been purchased and altered upon request. Please note – if you are returning due to wrong size, I will not take it back. Read the descriptions carefully, as the size will be noted in there. If you do not know your ring size, please go to a jewelry store and they can measure you for free.
